Elburn, a village in Illinois’ Kane County, can be found where Illinois Route 38 and Route 47 meet. Positioned 46 miles west of downtown Chicago, Elburn offers convenient commuter rail services via its Metra station on the Union Pacific West Line.

The area surrounding Elburn includes several neighboring cities, including Batavia, Geneva, and St. Charles, which are often referred to collectively as the Tri-Cities. Additionally, Campton Hills, which was established in 2007, shares a border with Elburn. Other nearby cities include Aurora, Elgin, and DeKalb, which is home to Northern Illinois University.
