Homer Glen, a village in Will County, Illinois, lies 32 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, with a tiny portion extending into Cook County. According to the 2020 census, the population stands at 24,543. The village was officially incorporated on April 17, 2001, and its history dates back to an area previously known as Goodings Grove.
