In 1965, the Aldine Independent School District underwent integration as mandated by the federal government.

Based on data from the US Census Bureau, the CDP encompasses a land area of 7.90 square miles, with an additional 0.019 square miles or 0.22% consisting of water.

According to the 2020 census in the United States, the CDP had a population of 15,999 individuals, with 4,309 households and 3,436 families living in the area.

Pep Mueller Park, situated in Aldine at 14750 Henry Road, is under the management of Harris County Precinct 1. Within the park’s premises, you can find amenities such as a playground, a community building, a basketball pavilion, restroom and concession facilities, as well as four ball fields accompanied by four press boxes.

The Aldine Health Center, located at 4755 Aldine Mail Route in unincorporated Harris County, is managed and operated by Harris Health System, previously known as Harris County Hospital District.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office District II Patrol, which is responsible for serving the Aldine CDP, operates out of the Humble Substation located at 7900 Will Clayton Parkway in Humble. Additionally, the Aldine Community Storefront can be found at 5202 Aldine Mail Route.

In the Aldine CDP area, there are several Pre-K schools available to serve the community. These schools include deSantiago, Hinojosa (located within the Aldine CDP), and Lauder.

Several elementary schools in the Aldine CDP area serve students from various neighborhoods. These schools include Odom, Reed, and Raymond, all located within the CDP, as well as Carroll, Eckert, and Bussey, with the latter three schools being located in the nearby city of Houston. Notably, Eckert and Reed were previously intermediate schools, serving students in grades 5-6.

The following middle schools serve the Aldine CDP area: Grantham Middle School, which is located within the CDP, Stovall Middle School, which is situated in Houston, and Aldine Middle School, which is not located within the CDP.

The Houston area’s Aldine High School serves the western portion of the Aldine CDP, located west of the Hardy Toll Road. The eastern portion of the CDP, which lies outside of the city limits, is served by both MacArthur High School and Nimitz High School.

The Aldine CDP is where you can find YES Prep North Central, a public school serving students in grades 6-12 and operating as a charter school in Harris County.

The Aldine Branch of the Harris County Public Library, situated at 11331 Airline Drive in the Greenspoint area of Houston, strives to provide valuable resources and services to the local community.
