Marble Falls is a municipality located in Burnet County, within the state of Texas in the United States.
Marble Falls has its origins traced back to 1887 when it was established by Adam Rankin “Stovepipe” Johnson, a seasoned military figure with experiences as an Indian fighter and Confederate general.
Located within the picturesque Highland Lakes region, Lake Marble Falls is a stunning body of water that forms part of the expansive Colorado River system, the longest chain of lakes in the Lone Star State.
The city covers 12.2 square miles in total, with 11.6 square miles being land and 0.62 square miles, or 5.21%, being water, as per the United States Census Bureau.
According to the 2020 US census, the city had a population of 7,037 individuals living in 2,789 households, with 1,664 families residing there.

Prominent individuals in Marble Falls include J. Frank Dobie, known for his work as a folklorist, writer, and newspaper well as for owning a ranch in the area. Gerald Lyda, a general contractor and cattle rancher, was born and raised in Marble Falls. Leonel Manzano, who won a silver medal in the 1500m event at and is a former NCAA Beijing and 2012 London Olympics. John Arthur Martinez, who was the runner-up on USA Network’s Nashville Star, was a teacher at Marble Falls High School, where he taught English and tennis. Additionally, David Morgan played as a tight end for the Minnesota Vikings for four seasons.
